  Forgiveness is not to release them or to give another license to keep hurting you. It is to release you from the hurt, the anger, the bitterness and the heartache that is within you to give you inner peace and allow you to experience God's love fully and to love others unconditionally, without suspicion or expectation. It gives you peace and freedom.

We serve an amazing God! God loves us more than anything in the world. He wants to do amazing things in our lives. He wants us to become closer to Him. We need to have faith in Him. Trust in Him and keep our eyes on Him. God’s timing is perfect timing. It may not be our timing, but He says just wait; I have this. Amen!

I recently wrote this and wanted to share. 1 John 4:4 says Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. People read scripture, but do they really understand the scripture that they are reading? Many have heard the scripture that says, "Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world." But have they really heard it and understood it? For me, it’s been a theme and pivotal to my growth. In this world, people know that the devil exists, but how many really know how much he exists and understand the capabilities of the devil? People read the Bible and they say there’s Jesus and there’s a devil, there’s a heaven and a hell, but they don’t really grasp how much influence the devil has. God's power is more mighty, but the devil has a lot of ways to work against us and a lot of it through his followers to come against us as Christians. Friday, July 7th, 2023, was the furthest I had walked since I started on a journey to walk and to get healthy. I did a total of 8 miles within the day, but I walked a long distance twice which accounted for 7.29 miles. During the mid-morning I walked 3.27 miles and then in the evening I walked 4.02 miles. I was proud of myself that I didn't even need to stop and rest at all! What an accomplishment because 4 months prior, I was using a walker/cane and had been on and off for years. I was previously on a lot of medications and struggled on a daily basis to do anything. I spent most days in my house. That has changed! The reasons for these changes are simple: Miracles and most importantly, Jesus!
